The inflatable kayak is terrific. It folds up and fits into my little car. When we go away in the caravan we can easily take the kayak as well. Pumps up in minutes. Easy to just pop in the car and go anywhere. Very strong, very stable. Love it.
However, as far as Airkayaksdirect go, their prices are very steep.
We found the chinook XP 2 on this site for $799 on sale. Wanted to look at one first and discovered the local BCF had the XP 2 Chinook on sale for $399. (normal price $499). It didn't include the wet-pack was the only difference. Looked for a pressure gauge as you have no idea whether you have 1 or 2, 3 or even lower PSI. and the instructions almost yell at you not to over inflate. Almost impossible to buy a gauge anywhere in Australia. Have to buy one online. They should therefore come with the kayak.
Airkayaks have the gauge for $29.95 + $16.95 postage. Another Australian supplier have the exact same thing (and brand) for $19.95 + $16.95 postage.
