The Offshore Pro HAMMAR 150 has all the great features of the Offshore Pro 150 plus the HAMMAR MA1 Hydrostatic inflation system.

The HAMMAR system offers a unique operating system that requires water pressure activation. This is highly suited to anyone kayaking in extremely wet conditions. This jacket also features an ergonomic design with a soft neoprene collar for extra neck support and comfort, plus reflective piping for better nighttime visibility.

About Hammar Life Jackets

HAMMAR life Jackets work using the hydrostatic opening and allowing the water to meet the sensitive element. This releases the stainless steel coil spring, which drives a needle into the end of the gas cylinder.

When you're submerged 10cm underwater, within 3-5 seconds, the life Jacket should automatically inflate. Note the PFD can still be manually inflated by pulling the handle.

As the PFD recognises pressure, it won't inflate in high humidity or when subjected to spray and wave splash. The only downside is that these PFDs must be kept up to date with servicing to ensure full working order.
